Gemmill 48199
The problem with us getting Prozone with Roeder at the club was that it was like giving the keys to a Ferrari to a new-born baby. I can just picture Lee Clark sat, face agog, in front of a computer screen filled with statistics, him and Terry Mac turning to look at one another, both with the same dazed expression on their faces. Now we've got someone in who actually knows how to use it. Haven't seen any of the conference, but it sounds like he's coming out with all the right stuff. Yes, but it was refused to Robson before IIRC. Though the image of Robson sitting in front of a computer is a bit strange as well. GBLC will struggle with the new regime anyway with the introduction of many strange words like nutterition etc. I reckon if the club bring in a computer system to assist the coaches, GBLC and Terry Mac will sit in front of it and play computer games the whole day. Though, if it keeps them away from the training ground... Edited May 15, 2007 by Isegrim
Tooj 17
Only caught a bit of the conference, but was impressed with his talks of investigating the injuries by looking at things such as nutritional diets and all of that malarky.

Bombadil 0
well so far Sam is saying all the right things Souness and Roeder both said a lot right things (at the start) - so like every other manager Allardyce needs to be judged by actions, not by intentions. Souness started coming out with shit about "proper players", "trenches" and "lady luck" right from day one. I'm really optimistic now, should be an interesting summer. Funny how that wanker Oliver keeps stressing that Allardyce is "not everybody's cup of tea" - he didn't mention a thing when Souness and Roeder were appointed. Oliver is gutted because his mate got sacked and his other sources of inside info are likely to get the boot too (Clark for example).

Barney 0
I'd say old Ally Oliver is sitting in the wings in his bestest suit and tie, licking his hands and then trying to make his hair all nice for his new best pal. Souness was nobodies cup of tea at all, and Roeder was at best a very cheap and watery cup of tea that nobody really wanted! Did anyone read in the chornicle, it may have been saturdays where Oliver wrote that some of his friends have told him how much he features on internet message boards! Says he never uses them himself but has foudn out how much he gets mentioned...wonder (and indeed hope) they told him what kind of mention he gets! This does then make you wonder about some peoples theory that he is now starting to deliberately do some of the stuff he comes out with to piss us off even more!
