I think he's had a thankless task tbh. There's been no money at Citeh recently and it's alledged that his hand was forced on the exits of Cole and James to cut the wage bill.

 

Shame really that he wasn't given a crack at it with the new owner and funding behind him. Reminds me a bit of what Ossie had to put up with while he was managing us.

Not sure about that, he spent pleny on Samaras and Corradi didn't he ?

Think Corradi was free or very cheap. But what about that swedish keeper cost about 2million.

Think Corradi was free or very cheap. But what about that swedish keeper cost about 2million.

 

 

Corradi was for and undisclosed fee and Samaras was for £6m

He was never really any good though, was he? He only lasted that long because the media went completely over the top after he won his first few games and had a decent start to his first season. Oh, and because he came up with one or two nice quotes after every match.

Aye, I've always liked Pearce as a bloke and a footballer, but his record at Man City has been shite to put it bluntly. Tbh, I was bemused when he was seriously linked with the England job. It looks like management just isn't for him.
