You can just see us missing out on Allardyce.

BTW, I'm half serious about Pearce - I wouldn't put it past Shepherd at all.....

Me neither two more managers available on the open market I wouldnt be surprised if he pulls another clown out of the hat like he did with souness (im sure he does some sort of betting scam)

Jewell nailed on imo.

Got to be dead cert for the job following his resignation comments :"The intensity of football at the highest level, although completely addictive, is also draining.

"I feel I would be kidding the chairman, my players and the supporters if I was to carry on without being able to put in the energy and dedication I know is required to be successful at this level."

You just knew it'd happen... Fat Freddy dragged his arse and now it'll likely be that we have to wait even longer on getting a new manager be it Big Sam or whoever. Personally though I can see Jewell going to City, at least that'd make more sense. Wigan shown their lack of ambition by signing up their own number two... never works does that.

Whilst he may want to stay in the North West a 12 million contract is alot to walk away from as I cannot see City paying that kind of money

With the talks of the takeover... would the new owners be willing to pay that much?

If Owen fucks off perhaps Big Sam can borrow his helicopter.

He was always going to be sacked after his comments following Citeh's match yesterday:

"I hope it's me, I've done a reasonable job but I know our shortcomings and plan to address them this summer.

"If it isn't me, I'll move on and manage elsewhere and prove myself elsewhere."

Hard to believe this is the same guy who took that penalty at Euro 96. Pyscho as a player, Timid Shrew as a manager?
