Kevin Carr's Gloves 4095
Calum Best is reportedly in talks to sign with a football team in the US. (Advertisement) The 26-year-old is rumoured to be making the stateside move and is thought to have considered the New York Red Bulls or the New England Revolution. A source is quoted in a national newspaper as saying: "He's dead serious about following in his dad's famous footsteps. "He realises he could never break into English football at his age - but in America the standards and physical demands aren't so high and he really wants to give it a shot. "He's always had a wealth of talent on the pitch - nowhere near the same league as his dad, of course, but probably good enough to play pro here." Calum's agent Dave Read reportedly confirmed there has been interest from Major League Soccer clubs. He said: "Calum is a talented footballer and it's true that some MLS clubs have been sniffing around. "We'll just have to wait and see what happens. It's certainly an option for him." If this is true in any way MLS will become an absolute laughing stock.

Noelie 103
It is a quality league to watch tbh. Well I can't argue with that as I've never watched a game, and even when Beckham joins the local LA Galaxy I won't be drawn to watch. Mind you I hope the MSL flourishes and stays around for a long time as I feel the States need a professional football(soccer) league for the youth players to have something to aim for, however history has proved that importing 'foreign' players can't and won't guarantee success and longevity. For example, in the 1970's-80's we had the NASL but the likes of Best, Pele, Cruyff, Beckinbauer, Beardsley, Marsh, Banks, Tueart, Francis, Johnson, Eusebio, Deyna, etc and many more name players from around the world couldn't keep it afloat more than a few years. Oh by the way, Sam Allardyce played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the NASL as did Rodney Marsh. Edited May 14, 2007 by Noelie

Gemmill 47340
Speaking of reality shows, I see the latest is Abigail Clancy and Janice Dickinson (is that her name? Model/slut from the 70s?), with the dopey scouser trying to make it in the US aided and abetted by Dickinson. Who the fuck is watching this shit? Jimbo 175
It might be a great league to watch, and I'll compare it to watching amateur boxing, usually the best bout of the night is the two nine yearolds that that spend 3 rounds "windmilling" at eachother, little skill, but much more fun to watch.
