its getting on my tits at the minute.

went into subway yesterday and as soon as I walked in the door I heard someone doing the "bamchicka-wah-wah" thing. So theres me thinking, get in, then to my horror I turn around and theres a little lass no older than 9 years old looking at me. Just put my head down after that, not into that paedo shite. :D

Those adverts are painfully unfunny and unsexy.

Getting people to remember a brand is the objective, getting the advert to be soo catchy that people actually mimic it is even better. The fact that kids are obviously "doing" the advert and people know exactly what they are doing means the campaign has been very effective no matter how much you hate it.

I must admit I tried something due to peoples constant disgust, talking about it all the time and the product in question is now one of my favorite brands. Im sure I am not the only one to have become curious and tried something out due to people constantly slagging it off.

one of the blokes at work has it as a text message alert.

I'm not the only person at work who swears under their breath when it goes off.

I agree that the idea is to get the brand in your head, but I will pointedly refuse to buy any of that shit because of the advert. Same goes for Strongbow cider and many many more.

Alex hit the nail on the head though, its kids who use the stuff and you just know this advert will appeal to them (and stuuuudents).

Lynx is fucking disgusting. Something reminded me of the advert today though - was authorising someone's expenses and this bloke had tried to pass off a 60 Euro charge at the Chica Chica Boom Lap Dancing Club as a taxi receipt. :D

This same bloke went to Miami recently and put the following on his expense claim - a Harley Davidson that he hired for a day, pack of cards for a poker night (that's how he actually described it on the claim), and he paid for an $800 meal, and rounded the bill up to $1000 for the tip. He clearly thought he'd turned into a rockstar for the day or something.

Did you authorise either claim? :D

Both. :( If he's gonna stick stuff like that on there, I'm gonna have to pay him simply for the sheer brass neck of it. Hopefully the more he gets away with, the more outrageous he'll get. I forgot, he also tipped $75 for a $350 meal as well. Blatantly fancied the waitress.

Whats his name? Mickey Rourke. I would ring him and let him know your willing to turn a blind eye to his spending if he takes you with him on one of his trips, the mans a fucking legend by the sounds of it.

The reality is if you go up to a lass and she can smell Lynx on you the best she'd do is tell you to boom-chicka-fuck-off tbh...

Thats brilliant. Fair play to you for authorising them too :D

How come you authorise the big spenders payday? Do you get to spend like that then?
