khay 10
NIGEL Pearson will take charge of Newcastle United for the final game of the Premiership season at Watford on Sunday, following Glenn Roeder's resignation. The Magpies' First Team Coach will be assisted at Vicarage Road by Lee Clark and Terry McDermott. United bring down the curtain on the 2006/07 season by making their second trip of the campaign to Watford, having already beaten the Hornets on penalties in a Carling Cup tie back in November. Fans are reminded that there will be no general sale of tickets for this fixture. from .cock

Baggio 0
It would have been great if they let Sir Bobby come back for the last game of the season.
Matty 0
It would have been great if they let Sir Bobby come back for the last game of the season. Then we'd get Souness back so that he could remove the cancer from our club.... Too soon? Edited May 7, 2007 by Matty
@yourservice 67
NIGEL Pearson will fall asleep with Newcastle United for the final game of the Premiership season at Watford on Sunday, following Glenn Roeder's resignation. The Magpies' First Team Coach will be assisted by a sleeping bag and sarnies at Vicarage Road and also Lee Clark and Terry McDermott. I think we'll get beat we have nothing to play for and neither do watford but that hasn't stopped them putting in 100% every game of the season, boothroyd will want to end on a win because it's hard to suffer a season like theirs and then pick yourselves back up in the championship whether you have a superior set of players or not
TheMoog 0
I know we need someone to take charge for the last game and it makes sense that it'd be the assistant manager... but please don't let Fat Freddy see this thread and get any ideas, you know what he's like, he could do another Roeder!
