Jimbo 175
Cannot go wrong with a bottle of Buckfast tbh.. The choice of the discerning alcoholic, Buckfast is right up there with brake fluid and meths.

geordieshandy 0
There's a few places where you can get Champagne with a personalised label. Did this for me brother and his lass for their wedding. http://www.nextdaychampagne.co.uk/
Craig 6708
Proper Champagne is rank like. I remember for years having cheapy, shitty Cava and being fobbed off that it was Champagne and the first time I had the proper stuff, I hated it... Far too dry. Although I like Brut Champagne.
Craig 6708
As Jimbo said earlier, one man's Grand Cru is another man's vinegar. I remember being quite disappointed when I didn't like the taste...

gram 0
It's a wedding present so why not get him a nice bottle of champagne? Spent 70 quid on champagne for them when their bairn was born. Canny stuff aswell. They do like wine and the like so i will try and get a few bottles of the stuff suggested. Cheers for your help all.

With a name like that, it sounds like the sort of stuff that's pleasant on the throat but rots your guts the next morning!
Sima 0
One of my favourite Italian wines. Ever had a Gaja Sima? A couple, nowhere near as much as I have had Barolo though

Gaja is a winemaker who produces Barolos amongst others... Never said they weren't? Are you sure about this? Otherwise your statements is a bit meaningless isn't it. Of what use is a quantitative comparison between a single winemaker and a certain wine in general? A bit like: Have you ever eaten at McDonald's? A couple of times, not as much as I've had burgers though...
Sima 0
Yeah, I'm sure. I've had Gaja's Merlot, not their Barolo
