Gemmill 46176
Is he starting tonight then or whaaaat? Gonna be class to see him actually put in a shift for us, although he'll be shite like he usually is coming back from injury.
Craig 6700
I suspect he'll be on the bench and we'll be lucky to see him in the last 15 minutes or so...... Roeder is going on about him being involved 'at some point'. Anticlimaxtastic!
Meenzer 15742
And to think I'm only going to this game to get an eyeful of his legs. *femalesoopafantastic*

Gemmill 46176
So stumpy in fact, that I think you'd struggle to get your angles right, Meenzer.
Meenzer 15742
I ain't fussy. More to the point, there's not much else to choose from.
Sima 0
Knowing Roeder's usual substitution tactics, expect to see him when the clock reads 89:36 when we are 3-0 down. Roeder will still expect him to salvage something out of the game though.

Sima 0
That wasn't really a score prediction tbh, more of an observation of Roeder's woeful use of substitutes.

Gemmill 46176
Owen starts according to the Chronicle. Sweepstake (body part and time of injury) - I've got Hamstring, 27th minute.

wykikitoon 20901
IMO we shouldnt play him. Leave him out and let him have a good pre-season. What is the point in risking him and letting England have an excuse in playing him and then getting injured again. I would love to see him back but think it would be silly. But experience as a NUFC tells me, he probably isn't fully prepared, and that the club is willing to take a little risk in order to grab the sky money. Tooj 17
Hopefully this latest injury has actually give Owen a bit of hunger and desire that he appeared to have lost for the game ever since going to Madrid.

He did look quality for us do not get me wrong but I've just felt over the last couple of years he hasn't appeared hungry for the game as a whole. Craig 6700
7 goals in 10 games is a bloody good return. In the games he's played for us, he's been very hungry IMO.
