Tom_NUFC 0
Something, I'd forgotten about, but the Sports bloke on Look North has just said that Newcastle will pay Real Madrid less than £16m, due to the money Real owe NUFC for Woodgate. Makes sense, so I suppose we haven't forked out as much as people think, and with that £8m recouped from Jenas going to Spurs, it's really not that bad. If Fat Fred hasn't enough money in his wallet for all those pies and has to quickly run around to the ATM to withdraw a bit more cash - did he only spend the money in his wallet? Rob W 0
There isi no sign in the Interim Accounts for 2005 that the debt owed to us suddenly shot up - which it would have done if theWoodgate money hadn't been paid - I reckon Fred has had his hands on it all year
