The Fish 10962
I've got pacey forwards with a bit of strength and good finishing, not too bothered about heading or dribbling to be honest as I score most goals one on one. Your Defensive midfielder has to be at worst Mascherano standard to play with one in the centre, I'd play a DM and an MC instead of MC and AMC until you can fill that position with a real Gem of a defensive but creative DM. Fullbacks must be quick and have stamina they'll do a lot of running. One strong, tackling, heading defender, one pacey, with the ability to pass. wingers must dribble and have bags and bags of pace, you're looking for cutbacks, not crosses. it's a good idea to start with two fairly quick fairly strong strikers and bring on a lightning fast striker towards the end of the game if you're having trouble scoring. Jimbo 175
I ended my first season very strongly using this tactic, but my second season has gone to ratshit, in fact, I think I'm one result away from the sack, I'm currently midtable.

Its improved since using your tactic, I'm up there challenging rather an consistantly fighting relegation.
The Fish 10962
I have to change my tactics depending on the opposition these days, The rubbish teams and the very good teams I can play that tactic, but midtable stuff I have to play a 3-1-3-1-2 counter attack because they just defend in numbers and I can't seem to break them down
