adios 717
I have to say I think alex is right here. Normally when you talk about tactics with football managers you mean on the pitch. It's to do with the context you see. If I started going on about tactics in the context of Rommel and Montgomery you'd be very unlikely to think I was referring to the football tactics of the yearly officer's 5-a-side now would you? Guest alex
Well, he got rid of them (Bellamy and Robert) arguable for a fraction of what they were worth and to the detriment of the team in the second half of last season. It probably even cost us the chance of winning the UEFA Cup. If you call that tactically astute...

Go and read my post. It's very obvious. I even differentiate by saying "on the pitch".

Renton 21983
I said Robson's record was superior to Souness's. READ MY POSTS MORE CAREFULLY. You STILL fail to explain why Robson won nothing. 24769 As for why Robson never won anything here, I don't know, nobody does. 24806 You make my point perfectly. Track record means very little once you join a new club. Let's just get behind the manager and the team and see what happens. 24817 Utter bullshit, it means everything, otherwise I may as well be the next manager. I'm not rising to your bait anymore, either you a wum or a complete cretin, either way you're not worth talking to.

His track record should have kept him employed... You are so lame, making your dig then running off again saying you won't talk to me anymore. You are worse than me. Or something, I think.
