Well learn to play then learn to sing and play,

No it just becomes second nature to the point where you dont have to concentrate.

I can play guitar & hold a conversation..

but can you do both well at the same time ???

I thought you had a Gibson SG?

Selling it like? :)

Can't really bring myself to sell it as it's sexy. ..and I paid a few ££ for it.

Got a squier strat i'd happily get rid of though.. perfect for a beginner. :P

Steve Vai - Eugenes trick back, correct tempo :ok:

Always thought he was over-rated meself

Most of these soloists are, can do all the techniques but all the songs get tiring after a minute or to and it lacks heart.

Give me "Layla" over "For the love of god" anyday.

Depends what you're rating them on to be fair. In terms of technical ability and what they can do with a guitar they are amazing and so their ability isn't overrated at all.

If you're rating them for their song writing ability, and how they use their ability to produce music you want to listen to more than once then that's a different thing alltogether and alot of them might be found lacking in depth there!
