bobbyshinton 59
If a family member was attacked and hurt ala Gemmils cousin or Caths Bro? Me if it was Mrs S, Little S (who I think could probably muster more than me anyway) or Miss S I would go looking.

I'm not sure revenge would be much compensation but fairly sure it would be counterproductive. I'm no fan of mob justice although I can see why it happens. Jimbo 175
I've often thought of this, and in an unemotional, sober frame of mind I'd like to think I would leave it to the courts, but if the red mist descended I think I would be very capable of dishing out my own form of justice if I felt justice had not been delivered. Gemmill 47572
If you randomly bumped into them, or ended up in the same room as them for some reason, I guess it would be canny difficult not to want to give them a hiding, but ideally you would want things to be dealt with through the courts. I wouldn't have any faith in them getting it right though - for the most part the legal system's view of fair punishment for a particular crime is far removed from your average punter's view.
