Howaythetoon 0
Great, we bring in a LB when the transfer window is closed and the season is all but over. I swear this club does things backwards. How about in the close season Glenn, or Jan perhaps?

How about in the close season Glenn, or Jan perhaps? Am I getting whooshed or is this meant to be nonsense? There is nothing wrong in early "planning" for next season by looking at Bosmans. The only problem in this case is the quality...

Guest Patrokles
There's a terrific comment on tribal football regarding this story. An Olympiakos fan (who seems to rate Bulut, btw) says- in response to a previous comment- 'if you hate Bulut because he's Turkish, that's cool, but don't hate him because he plays for Olympiakos.' tinofbeans 91
considering whats available i'm surprised we aren't playing edgar more often. as for domi he was possibly the most comfortable on the ball left back i've seen here for some time, sadly his defending was not really all that. Not to mention that he'd have to be great to play when sulking in a different country to the match in question.
Gemmill 47361
It was in the summer of 2001 that a then 19-year-old Emre left Turkey in a move from Galatasaray to Inter Milan, but he still suffers from a bit of homesickness. That's one of the reasons why United brought his Turkish compatriot Erol Bulut, who shares the same agent as Emre, across to St James' Park for a couple of days' training this week. But United have absolutely no intention of signing the 32-year-old Turk, even though he can play in the position they need to fill more than any other in the close season - left-back. Indeed, Glenn Roeder told me today: "I am looking to bring in players who are under 25 and whose best days are in front of them, not behind them." From today's Chronicle. Basically we've brought him in so that Emre has a friend for a week.
