sweetleftpeg 0
For me I would have Roeder out this week, but I am aware of the 'voices of reason' saying end of season and perhaps they have a point. My main worry is that if Roeder isn't sent packing now FS won't start looking for another manager till the summer and probably leave it too late as usual. On a side issue all this waiting for Shearer lark which is the worst kept secret plan 'A'..doesn't really bear up as he hasn't even finished his 'A' badge yet to go for the Uefa Pro 'B' license..So I'm esitmating Shearer is two years away at least. Out now or wait till later? Big Al was asked the question at the Fed about taking over and he said it was,nt the right time for him, he still had stuff he wanted to do, but he said possibly sometime in the future . Text book boring Shearer answer tbh. He's not going to say publicly he wants to take over while Roeder is in charge. He could be chomping at the bit to take over and he still would keep his mouth shut and dish out the 'Glenns doing a great job' speeches.

Shearer could well not want to go near it at the moment, but if he does then you know his answer would still be as above!
