Marshall was absolutely amazing, as was Holding and Garner, as a matter of fact they all were for that matter. But they were a bit before my time so I grew up watching Curtly and loved him. Superior to Courtney Walsh for certain.

smoggeordie 0
Alex Tudor. I'll never forget his face when we needed 1 to win and he was 99*, only for Thorpey to come in and cream a four
Walliver 0
Gladstone Small is the greatest bowler of all time. He won us the Ashes. Big Dev is the second greatest bowler of all time. He goes to South Africa after his 9-57, they're terrified of him, Nelson Mandela describes him as the dark destroyer - so what do you do? Try to change his bowling action? What? Kid Dynamite 7312
Did ye knaa! Lara is, or was for donkeys, seeing a lass form chester-le-street. Right dirty slapper too. luckyluke 2
I also knew he hit a four, needing a six for his century, but I didn't want to rub his nose in it. I wish I could remember everything else as clearly as I remember obscure cricket trivia about matches that were EIGHT years ago!

Kevin Carr's Gloves 4079
Class. Preferred Malcolm Marshall and Michael Holding of the Windies quickies though. Joel Garner wasn't too shabby either. There is no better piece of commentary in the entire world than "The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willie" Factomundo!!!!

There is no better piece of commentary in the entire world than "The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willie" Factomundo!!!! Brian Johnston was an absolute legend. Had some quality gaffes in his career but that was the best. I loved him on TMS as he was just like someone talking to you in the pub about cricket rather than a commentator. The only one who is similar these days is Henry Blofeld but I think he's been pushed out of the TMS team now.
