Class. Preferred Malcolm Marshall and Michael Holding of the Windies quickies though. Joel Garner wasn't too shabby either.

Marshall was absolutely amazing, as was Holding and Garner, as a matter of fact they all were for that matter. But they were a bit before my time so I grew up watching Curtly and loved him. Superior to Courtney Walsh for certain. ;)

Devon Malcolm fwiw

Too inconsistent except the demolition of Sooth Africa in '94.

I was at that match and managed to miss every single he wicket he took by nipping out to ther pub at the wrong times

Absolutely gutting, if only the opposition hit Devon on the helmet everytime he was batting.

Gladstone Small is the greatest bowler of all time. He won us the Ashes.

Big Dev is the second greatest bowler of all time. He goes to South Africa after his 9-57, they're terrified of him, Nelson Mandela describes him as the dark destroyer - so what do you do? Try to change his bowling action? What?

I also knew he hit a four, needing a six for his century, but I didn't want to rub his nose in it. ;)

I wish I could remember everything else as clearly as I remember obscure cricket trivia about matches that were EIGHT years ago!

I don't give a fucking shit tbh. There's always one arsehole who has to be right. Fuck off.

Ignore me tonight.

There is no better piece of commentary in the entire world than "The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willie" Factomundo!!!!

Brian Johnston was an absolute legend. Had some quality gaffes in his career but that was the best. I loved him on TMS as he was just like someone talking to you in the pub about cricket rather than a commentator. The only one who is similar these days is Henry Blofeld but I think he's been pushed out of the TMS team now. ;)
