Scottish Mag 3
PETER Ramage is ready to give his all for Newcastle United as he returns to training this week following two months out with a hamstring injury. The 23-year-old has been sidelined since limping out of the 2-2 draw with West Ham at St.James' Park in January. But the ever-reliable defender has now stepped up his comeback and is confident he will be fit to face Man City a week on Saturday. Ramage told nufc.co.uk: "I've started training this week, I feel good and there have been no problems. "I want to make sure I'm 100% because last time I came back I broke down straight away. "I've been doing a lot of extra work with Derek Wright to build up strength, and so far everything has gone according to plan." The former Whitley Bay schoolboy was forced to watch from the stands as his team-mates were eliminated from the UEFA Cup against Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar. Rammy added: "I'm not the best watcher and it's frustrating that you can't help your team-mates. "But we have to try and finish like we did last season and it's important we stick together as a team. "I know we say it every year, but it's a case of hard work over the summer and coming back to try and hopefully win something for Newcastle United." Rammy....
