Wor Al 0
Albert Luque has expressed his delight at Newcastle's signing of Michael Owen. The Magpies have agreed a club record fee with Real Madrid for the England marksman who is set to sign a four-year deal at St James' Park. Luque, himself a recent arrival from Deportivo La Coruna, believes Owen is a crucial capture for The Magpies and will provide the goals that Graeme Souness' side have been missing so far this term. "I am very happy that everything has finally been sorted out," Luque stated. "Owen is a great player who will do very well for us. "We needed goals and he will bring us them. "I am sure he will settle into the team quickly and, together with Shearer, we can form a good attacking trio. "I know him from the Spanish league and know that we will able to combine well together. "I hope we can turn the corner and start to win games." http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.a...e&channel=spain An attacking trio? I hope souness isn't planning to keep the 433 formation!(or the 4-5-1 whatever you wanna call it.)

Guest Sima
Get a left winger and there is no reason why Luque can't play up top with Owen in a 4-4-2 next season.
Brock Manson 0
Why isn't Luque going to play LW this season? Isn't that his preferred position?
