Shearergol 0
One of the papers has us linked again with Sidwell. Loads of people go on about us always buying midfielders, but all of our central midfielders are pretty shit. I'd be more than happy to see Sidwell here. Think we should go for Bentley from Blackburn too. Get a bit of creativity in the team.

I don't think we can go wrong signing anyone like Sidwell on a free as long as we don't offer ridiculous wages, if he doesn't work out we sell him on. Bentley has been excellent this season but he's looked far better playing out on the right, I rate him higher than Milner but I don't think Blackburn would let him go cheaply. Fuck off. Sidwell has rejected a 30k contract offer and rumoured to have said he'll only re-sign if Reading qualify for Europe. Dubbed his horse 'Bosman' at the players' race night. Ginger twat. Overrated, far too inconsistant and too far up his own arse to realise that of all the players deserving 30k a week, he is not one of them. My stance has always been that on his day he's a great player, but his form is too inconsistant to warrant such a ridiculous salary, or even a new contract. Now it becomes apparant that he's a wanker as well.
