Why Toontastic is shit.

I'm browsing it on Safari on my Mac, and on reasonably regular intervals it decides it's had enough, and I get a message saying 'Safari has unexpectedly quit'. Never had this problem with any other site, and it means I can't ever be fucked to look on here when I'm at home.

Any ideas as to what's going wrong?

Yah, I get that problem with Toontastic when browsing with my IE based BT Broadband browser - which is shit anyway so I don't use it too often. This site works fine with Firefox or Opera. Try them.

As regards why Toontastic is shite...

Aye, I've secretly coded a 'fall over' routine for those who are specifically using a Mac and Opera. As if I have the time! :baby:

Plenty of Mac users on this place who have no problems whatsoever and considering we've hadover 20,000 visits from Safari users without complaint previously, I'm willing to bet it's nowt to do with out side of things.

Now put your hook away, we've already eaten ta very much

Take a chill pill Craigy, I figured not everyone with Safari wwas having this problem, otherwise there would have been a thread on this a long time ago. It ws more aimed at people who have had the same problem - I've downloaded firefox so hopefully it'll be ok now.

Put my hook away? What could you possibly mean?

Happened to me all the time too on mac and safari, exactly like Mowen says and it has never happened on any other site. I told pud about it but am using IE most of the time now so not been bothered.

It was odd though, would sometime just take it to load one page and then it crashed. I think if you leave the page to fully load before trying to link to another page, this minimised the number of crashes.

Actually (after taking the piss before) it has happened a lot recently on mine but I have just put it down to problems with my pc as I often have them. Didn't even click till now, im on a pc though and use IE but it always seems to happen when im using Toontastic.

Ditto. I thought it was just something I'd done on my PC - problem occurs with IE but not so much with Firefox or Opera, tbh. Think it's just some of the coding doesn't get processed properly sometimes (not that I have the faintest idea what I'm talking about either)
