khay 10
The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals will take place at 1330 GMT on Monday. Blackburn and Watford are the only two clubs definitely through after they saw off Manchester City and Plymouth respectively in the quarter-finals. Middlesbrough, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are also in the hat but are all facing replays. Live coverage of the draw is on BBC Two, BBC Radio Five Live, the BBC Sport website and on Ceefax, with matches set to take place on 14-15 April. The draw itself will be performed by former England goalkeeper Ray Clemence, who won the FA Cup with Liverpool in 1974 and Tottenham in 1982. Draw numbers: 1 Middlesbrough or Manchester United 2 Blackburn 3 Chelsea or Tottenham 4 Watford Not 100% sure on what happens with the placement for the Uefa cup, but I take it a Man Utd V Chelsea final would suit us the best? Guest alex
Isn't it 2/1 against them being drawn together anyway though?
Gemmill 47377
Aye 6 possible combinations, only 2 of which put them against one another. I think. Still though, it looked dodgy last year an'all. Not that I actually think it's rigged.

luckyluke 2
A few years ago it was Arsenal/Man U in one semi and Milwall and Sunderland(?) in the other, so they don't always rig it. Mind you seeing as this resulted in Milwall playing in Europe they may have decided at this point to warm the balls next time round!

Isegrim 10037
I think an alltwats-final (ManU vs. Chelsea) would be the best scenario for Newcastle anyway, so there is nothing to complain about. It would mean that the qualifying spot goes back to the league and as a result 7th place securing a direct Waffa-Cup-qualification (and 8th would be enough to get into the glorious Intertoto again). manc-mag 1
Even if the draw isn't rigged, it's in disarray because of the perception that it's rigged. Either way an overhaul is required. I think they should have painted the numbers on Ray Clemence's balls, sat him on the Generation Game conveyor belt and have him tea-bag all the managers left in the draw. The managers would be blindfolded to ensure fairness obviously. Trevor Brooking provides the additional pair of bollocks (or 'away teams')

Ally 0
Would be a great game for the first final at Wembley, but its certainly a bit dubious. Regardless, I think people are writing off Spurs and Boro a bit too early.

I sincerely hope Boro get turned over in the return match. Was not happy at all on Saturday when they went 2-1 up - the thought of those twats getting a day out for a cup semi-final. Well, it's not on, is it.

They couldn't even sell all their tickets for the away end at our place man - 45 minutes drive from their front door. I had an email off a Boro lad when I got in on Monday morning, all triumphal because they sold out a home FA Cup QF against Manchester United ffs. luckyluke 2
The match against Man United was the first time they'd sold out a home match in 11 months apparently. Which would include the UEFA semi final, unless I've been misinformed.
sweetleftpeg 0
Slaven was on the Legends the Monday after we played them saying he was 'proud' of the Boro fans and that they'd put us to shame. Aye, 90% anti-NUFC songs and the other being that 'don't take my Boro away' song is something to be proud of. Can someone also please tell me why they shut the A19 to escort their buses to the ground? Here man, I spell it out, IT'S NOT A DERBY.
