Noelie 103
Another disappointing game, another one we should have won handily but we just lack that cutting edge in front of goal. Minlner had a fair game but his balls in were poor as usual. Martins should have had at least one. Zoggy had a fair game and showed a lot of promise for things to come. Bramble was fairly solid but his long balls were rubbish. Gooch was a little shakey on occasion. Butt & Parker looked a little better together today. Nobby had another good game. Taylor was definitely better at LB than Huntington or Edgar. Dyer had a decent game I thought, worked hard. Edited March 3, 2007 by Noelie
Isegrim 10015
Another disappointing game, another one we should have won handily but we just lack that cutting edge up front of goal. My major concern is more the general shape of game. We were again totally unconvincing in our overall approach. We can't find a working central midfield pairing and there seems to be a total lack of understanding between all parts of the team. That is something that cannot solely blamed on injuries in my opinion.

Agreed, a very flat performance, injuries have taken their tole but man for man we were better than boro today on paper, we have been hampered by injury, now we are just hampered by a shit manager. Baggio 0
How many more times do we have to see a Butt/Parker partnership before Roeder realises they're not creating anything? He should have played Dyer in midfield and Sibierski up top instead of that unambitious selection.

Park Life 71
Fuck off Scott Parker. Withough Emre or Dyer rotating in the middle there is nothing going on apart from hopeful punts and the odd cross.

Almost wish we only had 11 match fit players then at least Roeder would have hardly no decision making.

Zathras 296
I thought Nobby was very disappointing. Gave the ball away a fair amount and his balls in were no better than Milner's toda.y
Jimbo 175
Think Milner is far better in the middle, I'd have gladly seen Parker or Butt sacrifced for Milner. and as for his corner, Jesus Wept.

Anyone seen much of this Gilles Barnes lad from Derby? Is he a creative playmaker?

I've been saying that for months, the amount of people relieved that Carr or whoever is injured because you just know Roeder would play him ahead of Solano. Guest Patrokles
Not entirely sure we were necessarily better than Boro on paper. They came with probably the best English centre-back around, two genuine full-backs, and the Premiership's form strike partnership.

I reckon Milner wouldn't be a bad "attacking" centre-mid - ofters more going forward than Parker. He seems to stay too wide for a winger - that being because his game normally revolves around receiving a pass, beating a full-back, then delivering a cross that goes out for a throw-in/goal-kick.
