Good for you. How's it going? Was just having a good ol' lament about the NHS with my new housemate (she's a nurse).

So far so good tonight, although we are on call for vascular emergencies. Lots of office politics going on from management which is unsettling a lot of people at the moment so it's not great in that respect, but hopefully they're going to leave me on nights and I can keep out of it. (I won't find out til April)

Sounds like you could do with a good ol' lament yourself.

I'm off to bed, hope it stays slow.

Speaking of tea (though I assume you meant the foody variety), I have just made myself a nice big cuppa. Doesn't quite fit the mood - my slightly unhinged best mate is forcing me to listen to the latest stylings of his goth-electro-metal band - but it's hitting the spot nonetheless.

Hang on, when did this become the General Random Conversation thread?

It's turned into a combination of the fat kids/so you think you can nurse/cooking threads.

You've just persuaded me to have a cup of PG Tips with my lasagne...

Oo lasagne. Was going to do that tonight but ended up with a plateful of pasta instead (chicken/onions/peppers/red pesto/fresh parmesan/ground pepper = yum). Ate far too much though, which sort of brings us back on topic (albeit with added vitamins).

Remove the peppers from that meal and it sounds lush. Can't even bear the sight of the things.

I do have several fresh fruit items for various points in the night which is very boring, but I'm thankful that my mam didn't just let me eat chips instead when I was a bairn

me am lucky but not for the pseeudios ??////

This only really works for those Pratchett fans who have read Thud but. A toontastic night out for the girls would have Catmag as Sergeant Angua, Toplass as Tawnee, Toonraider as Sally, and Ragi as Cheery.

It is pretty much impossible to explain if you haven't read the discworld series but if you have it's very funny.

I've looked it up as I have no clue either, and I appear to be a practical and level-headed werewolf ;)

You're a pole dancer, Linz
