Erratic and unbalanced is exactly what I look for in a prospective employee.

The first two words on my CV

I have them in quotation marks between my first and second name. If the interviewer mentions them I shoot him with two index finger pistols and tell him "Those are my middle names"

As one would surely. :nufc:

Not me! I stand up, run round the chair and sit back down again with a 'There' to finish off.

I get what Parky is trying to say, that dull comfortable homelife won't make or break you like a fractious one will.

I don't agree with it neccessarily, My homelife is ticketyboo but I knwo that I can't abide being stagnant.

I think the job that was advertised would have a bearing on the "schoolies" that apply, they may not have had the confidence in themselves or drive to go for a better job and the other people may be over-compensating for their lack of education with an over-enthusiastic interview approach.

also I think that the chicken mayo sandwich I just ate isn't digesting very well.

If I was honest I always found the underdog more interesting.....

Recent graduates into our company have all had 'years off' where they have gone to somewhere like the Gallapagos Islands to do conservation, then trekked the himalayas, then done charity work in Africa. They all discuss it with each other as though its a competition.

The sort of person who does all this at the age of 22 is firstly, incredibly impressive (without doubt hailing from the most stable of backgrounds) then secondly, a complete c*nt.

If it meant suddenly realising what a twat they were, then a verbal warning is enough.

You don't have to travel the world to discover yourself, i always found a couple of E's and a good drink can sort you right out, if that doesn't work try a microdot, it will make you or break you, guaranteed

 A true journey of personal discovery.

This begs the question: Isn't it high time people listed their experiments with drugs on their CV's? :D

Good idea, but I don't think I would be advancing my career options in the NHS if I did tbh. :D
