snakehips 0
Over the last six months there seems to have been a 'push' in the market place for everyone to buy this. The sellers spout the usual 'there's only one source and it's running out' etc etc in an attempt to get people to buy their wares. Well, I was speaking to a jeweller recently (whom I trust implicitly) who told me that the Americans have a huge stock of this gemstone and are quite happy to put out the 'stock running out' stories on a regular basis in order to keep the price inflated. You will, by now, be half asleep and will realise that I am extremely bored!! Yawn. Anyone fancy a bacon sarnie?

Tooj 17
I remember having to write an assignment on the Diamond Market at Uni, what a snooze fest that was.
snakehips 0
I remember having to write an assignment on the Diamond Market at Uni, what a snooze fest that was. The jeweller I was talking about showed me a diamond. Boy, it was the most beautiful gem I had ever seen. I cannot describe its magnificence. It was £1800, but was soooooo tempting. Told him I would buy it if he hasn't sold it by the next time I see him in June. (I hope he sells it before then!)

Guest Toplass-101
I dont trust jewellers, I had two diamond solitaire rings valued at less then £500! this was from the shop they had been bought from for about 2k each. I sold them a couple of months ago, and all I got for them was £700. They are now for sale in the jewellers window, one for £1,300 and the other for £1,800.
