Jill 0
All my work was bang up to date when I left at 11.30am yesterday.. somehow I now have a million new emails and someone has sabotaged my clear desk policy by dumping a load of work on my desk. Focusing on my 5 o'clock pint though...

Gemmill 47668
Nowt worse than being an early-to-riser who suffers bad hangovers. I wouldn't care if I could sleep through them, but I'm normally up at 6 living through the pain.
The Fish 11126
I've got to do a load of re-sorting the filing system at work so it's "dress down" day. It'll be a totally mindless day but luckily it's out of the office itself so I can put music on, and it'll not require any degree of alertness. which is good news for my fuzzy head

Does my fucking head in though cos we had a meeting the week before and all the lasses are giving it "When's something gonna be done about the archive? It's been a mess for ages! I've got boxes to archive but no space!" I felt like saying "Yeah some of us are coming on ON OUR FUCKING WEEKEND to sort it out, you lazy fucking slags. Do you think Mary Poppins comes in and spoonful-of-sugars the place??"

Wouldn't mind getting overtime to do it on a saturday, but there's no chance of that apparently I'm all for equal opportunities and the like but the bird we've got helping us is 5 foot tall and built like a paper aeroplane. So basically it'll be me and one other lad sorting out 23,000 cases, re-arranging the cabinets and cleaning the basement... all I'm saying is that she'd better be good at making cups of tea

The Fish 11126
I'm taking my iPod in and some speakers so we can whistle while we work, then after work I'm getting the train up to Newcastle to spend the weekend with my folks, my mother inevitably saying I'm not eating right and my dad asking me incessantly how my finances are. but home cooking and being doted on by your mam... you can't beat it
