Guest alex
I reckon Harrison stayed an amateur so long because he was more suited to the amateur game. It's practically unheard of for someone to turn pro at his age and do much in that part of their career. I only think he was as high-profile as he was because of the Olympic gold (and the division being so weak). His basic deficiencies meant he was always going to struggle - a weak jab and keeping his right hand low in particular meant he was aways going to be vulnerable against decent opposition. On a happier note, Amir Khan looks the part more and more every time I see him. Looks like he's really started to add some bulk to his wiry frame too. tinofbeans 91
as a boxer he was too slow, his hand speed wasn't good enough and he lacked power. 3 things that you need as a boxer....
Jimbo 175
Good boxer, but I think he just doesn't want it enought to be a world beater.
