nufc4ever 0
Being able to afford both a 360 (power and media abilities) and a Wii (fun, novelty) for the price of a single PS3. I have gone down that route btw.
Gemmill 47676
Ahh, I see. Anyone paying that much money for a games console wants their head read tbh.

Blu-Ray player is supposed to be as good as any standalone though. Saying that though, anyone paying £425 for a player wants their head read as well. The problem being with the two disc formats, you could find yourself lumbered with the "Betamax" of the two.

Aye even Stuff magazine last month said they were doing a first but not at this moment recommedning either/or and that you should wait to see which one comes out on top. nufc4ever 0
That's the thing, the PS3 forces your hand. With a 360 you have the option to buy a HD format add-on but it's not forced upon you.
Sima 0
Sony won't admit it but I get the impression that gaming is Sony's 2nd priority with regards PS3
luckypierre 0
had a preorder cancelled it. Dont even think there'll be a market for selling on either. You can pick up a Jap PS3 for around £300 on ebay at the minute. A fair portion of the UK machines will go straight on ebay. You could end up with a bargain if the buyers market isnt there like the US launch
wellsy 0
I think i can find a better way to spend $1000 bucks... if i was to ever get a new console it would be a wii for the drunken madness me and my mates could have!
nufc4ever 0
Sony won't admit it but I get the impression that gaming is Sony's 2nd priority with regards PS3 I reckon that's fair comment. They must have piled millions into the Blu-Ray format with a view to getting one in every home via PS3. Their entire format war strategy is balanced upon it.
