Isegrim 10005
looking good micky o! how weeks of light training before he's ready to step up to to the real thing? What date was his operation? It's taking him quite some time anyway. Normally after starting light training it should be between 6-8 weeks after an ACL operation.

Fop 1
looking good micky o! how weeks of light training before he's ready to step up to to the real thing? What date was his operation? It's taking him quite some time anyway. Normally after starting light training it should be between 6-8 weeks after an ACL operation. Didn't he have 2 seperate ones, and had to recover from the first for the second, better for long term recovery or something. Anyway good to see him back, just hope they don't rush him so he can hopefully be injury free (at least serious injury) for a long while.

JawD 99
Read about it this morning, some article saying he could be fit for the England qualifier. Owen though was quick to point out that he has to get games for Newcastle first.
Papa Lazaru 0
Read about it this morning, some article saying he could be fit for the England qualifier. Owen though was quick to point out that he has to get games for Newcastle first. He couldn't have said that, he only ever thinks about England surely! It'd be great if he could get back for a few league games this season, and hopefully play a part in the EUFA cup as well. Also be interesting to see if this work they've been doing strengthening his hamsrings whilst he's been recovering from the main injury has worked well. The idea was to get him back to what he was like early in his career in terms of pace and running.
