Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels - The Communist Manifesto (1848) Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf (1925 - Volume 1, 1926 - Volume 2) Admitedly, perhaps not for the better (although the former can be either for better or worse, or even a bit of both, which is how I feel about it.) Not sure the ideas in Mein Kampf made a difference to the world since the only bloke to implement them was the bloke that wrote it.
