Guest Patrokles
Working on a budget unfortunately ... All I want is a "love ya" but cheap bouquet of something. Just go to a florist at the end of the day just before they close and ask if they have anything you could have free or very cheap.

catmag 337
Any flowers I can buy the lass for valentine's? Roses are so stereotypical. Help please ladies? What about something like a tulip or lily bouquet instead? (Don't get lilies if she has cats cos they're poisonous) Spring bouquets with gerbera and freesia are pretty too. Freesia are my personal faves because they smell simply divine, dahhling, and they come in various shades of purple, pink and lilac

Toonraider 0
I'm getting flowers for someone. Their absolute favourite flower is the gerbera daisy, so I want to make sure that at least a part of the arrangement includes this. However, there are also arrangements that consist of just gerberas, of different colours. My personal preference is to arrangements with a better mixture of things; however, if you were to receive it, and bearing in mind they really love gerberas, would you rather have an arrangement with various types of flower (and a gerbera or two), ie: or something that comprises only gerberas, such as: I don't particularly like geberas, so I feel that my judgement may be a little skewed. I love the bottom one, i tend to choose those colours myself. Dont think you could go far wrong with those. I hate lillies, bloody funeral flowers plus they stink of piss But if you ever do buy them, (as i know some people love them) remember to cut the stems out of the middle of the flower else the dye gets on everything, plus that does help to cut down on the godawful stench they give off!!! I love freshias, gorgeous smell. EDIT- I suppose I should say scent not smell! Edited February 8, 2007 by Toonraider

I came home last week and mine was trying to change a plug. That was the last straw. © Peter Kay
