I'm getting flowers for someone. Their absolute favourite flower is the gerbera daisy, so I want to make sure that at least a part of the arrangement includes this. However, there are also arrangements that consist of just gerberas, of different colours.

My personal preference is to arrangements with a better mixture of things; however, if you were to receive it, and bearing in mind they really love gerberas, would you rather have an arrangement with various types of flower (and a gerbera or two), ie:

or something that comprises only gerberas, such as:

I don't particularly like geberas, so I feel that my judgement may be a little skewed.

The bottom one is the nicest of the three. Canny gay thread though, well done.

Yeah, I like the bottom one too. They were mainly just examples, though. I'm scouring the online florists for the perfect one. Slow day off.

Seriously? Knitting?

My friend Anna loves it and sent me some expensive needles and wool, so I felt obliged to try it. Although I had told her beforehand that I was curious. She makes terrific cookies, too. Maybe you could compare culinary notes.

I went through a phase of knitting stuff - scarves and the like, nothing particularly good - when I was 9 or 10. My mother encouraged it. Bet she regrets that now.

She's missed out on grand kids cos of that little faux pas.

I had to go through American florists unfortunately I got some nice valentine-themed gerberas though. A bit more expensive than I wanted, but heeeeyyy.
