Obvioulsy he has chosen 'the word' for maximum impact. But I think he has a point, especially in the case where a player has said he is retiring from international football yet still finds himself called up.

 

It is a case that if individual players challenge this in the EU courts they would probably win as thier international federation is NOT thier direct employer.
