Bernard and Edgar Get Reserve Run-Out

OLIVIER Bernard is again named in the Newcastle United Reserve side that faces Bolton Wanderers at Leyland on Tuesday, February 6 (kick-off 7pm).

 

Coach Lee Clark will be looking for a positive response from his players following their disappointing exit from the Northumberland Senior Cup at the hands of Whitley Bay last time out.

 

He sends out the following side: Fraser Forster, Chris Shanks, David Edgar, Callum Morris, Olivier Bernard, Mark Doninger, Matty Pattison, Kris Gate, Phil Cave, James Troisi, Andy Carroll.

Subs: Mark Cook, Mark Bertram, Alex Francis, James Marwood, Jonny Godsmark.

I would assume so, aye. There's hardly a surplus of left-backs at the club. He hasn't even made the bench since he came back has he?

scary if that is true. and yet the powers that be felt we didn't need to sign a new left back in the the recent transfer window, even a stopgap loan deal ;)
