wykikitoon 20803
IMO James has had a lot better season than Robinson this season. Robbo has made some costly mistakes this season and looks a little weaker than previous seasons?

Craig 6700
He's not had the best of seasons but he's still far and away the best English keeper. James has performed well above his station this season and on merit deserves another chance in the England side but that does not automatically make him the better keeper. Glen 0
Aye, but Robinson on form alone is NOT England's best keeper at the moment.
IrishMag 0
From an outside point of view you lot seem short on decent goalkeepers at this moment in time. Maybe Foster will step up eventually, but Robinson has been shit recently, James, has the ability but just lacks consistency and concentration. Kirkland is a crock and Green isn't all that convincing. Are there any young English keepers coming through?

Papa Lazaru 0
Bit of a problem now. It doesn't matter whether James is in top form or not, he will drop a bollock and at international level has never been good enough despite all his natural talent. Unfortunately Robinson is looking like a bit of a nightmare at the moment, leaving England with nobody who is quite good enough at this point in time! Glen 0
I suppose this makes Foster the natural successor to the No 1 shirt at the moment then?
Craig 6700
I suppose this makes Foster the natural successor to the No 1 shirt at the moment then? In the same way as Robinson was seen to be about 5 years ago

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Are there any young English keepers coming through? Foster and Scott Carson seem to be the main two coming through. Everytime I've seen Robinson this season he's looked dodgy. luckyluke 2
I agree, it's not that he's particularly dropped any James-style clangers (that air kick aside) but his positioning in particular has been awful - the first goal against Croatia for example. Gemmill 46093
Not only has Robinson looked shite, but there's no excuse for the extra weight he's carrying. He's fatter than Stephen Carr.
Guest alex
He's not had the best of seasons but he's still far and away the best English keeper. James has performed well above his station this season and on merit deserves another chance in the England side but that does not automatically make him the better keeper. Dunno about that, James is the most talented English keeper of his generation, the only issue being his big game temperament. Robinson looks pretty average and has for a while imo. Is talent the same as shite now then? Being able to pull off amazing saves while at the same time being unable to deal with crosses of any kind or organise a defence or distribute the ball properly. Don't make him talented.
