The website is actually quite amusing, some of the policies are just farcical. The Oak gets really busy but it's a nice place. The Royal Park is a bit shabby but you don't have to fight your way to the bar. Dingy? that's the lazst word I'd have used, but I guess it does get ridiculously busy on the weekends, during the week it's much better. The main problem is that people bottleneck at the bar near to the door instead of spreading themselves the length of it and because they all jam up there it seems to be far more busy than it actually is. I know ti helps to know the barstaff, but I can get served a lot quicker in the HP than in the Royal.
