well they were favourites for the drop but at this rate THEY will be in Yurop next year and we won't

I don't think that makes a strange thread - and they've done it without gobbing off all over the meeja

I think I'd swop John Madejeski for FFS any day

Aye, they've done really well. Next season will be tough for them I reckon (as the 2nd season up often is). Good luck to them though.

See Reading...see Wigan.

aye and west ham.

could be your proverbrial one season wonder.

And going further back Ipswich.

Quite a few teams seem to be able to surprise established teams in the first season and then get found out in the second.

but over the last few seasons at least two of the promoted sides have STAYED up

Reading are doing well because they've had few injuries, they play with width and attack and don't spend 89 minutes trying to hoof the opposition into the stand. Instead of trying to stop the opposition they get on with their own game

John M will be drooling at the idea of the FA Cup game at Manure

45% of 70,000+ tickets.................................

Sonko's injured mind. Key player and he's missed already. Absolutely brilliant player.

Signed a birthday card for me mam he did.

I'll still have me season ticket next season, but it'll be alot tougher to repeat this season's 'success'. Reading's target is permiership survival, and building for the future. Hence the signings of Halford etc. Could potentially be a good team in a few years.

Who gives a shite, seriously?

:D

well I suppose we're not interested in well run football clubs, playing attractive football, with an owner who puts money in sensibly, a manager who doesn't mouth off, who are on the edge of qualifying for Yurop next year and who are above 9th in the table.................

:lol::lol::unsure::):):D:D:D

How very different from the operatic goings on at SJP

I was fascinated Rob, as ever
