Guest alex
I wouldn't be surprised if it's already been decided and the dome is actually going to serve a purpose eventually. Shame if so, as Blackpool probably needs the jobs/tourists more.
Meenzer 15870
I hadn't thought of it that way actually. That specific part of town (i.e. North Greenwich) is kind of eerie - it's still London, so never quiet enough to be called a ghost down, but it's certainly got a slightly deserted feel to it. That particular need for development notwithstanding, though, Blackpool could obviously do with a hot cash injection too.

Albert Kirkey 0
Blackpool missed a trick by not inviting John Prescott to one of their councillors ranches for a weekend jolly up. Bet that counts against them

Renton 22421
Did Newcastle even apply for any of the other large or small licenses? They appear to have been granted diddly squat. How does this impact on NUFC?

catmag 337
Apparently the new casino is going to be built near the City of Manc stadium in a lovely area called Beswick. The clientele at this SuperCasino are going to be lush. I give it 2 weeks before there's graffiti on the side of it.

Aye, I've never been to be fair, but it's a place heavily reliant on tourism with falling visitor numbers.

Aye, I've never been to be fair, but it's a place heavily reliant on tourism with falling visitor numbers. I want down for my first time in August. Had a couple of days off and decided one night that we would drive down the next day.I was surprised at how shit the place was. I have no idea how some people actually go there for a "holiday". Nothing to do but play Fruit machines and eat greasy burgers whilst surrounded by families of charvs/neds............GREAT!
