luckyluke 2
Top Gear challenges are still on of the best things on Tele. Still obviously set up though.
Andrew 4721
excellent way to end the series, like JK glad he got cowell (codpiece?) off the top and I lovethe fact that the ugliest stupidest named car is now top of the power board and of course gotta love beating the germans

Also the 'Power Laps' and the 'Star in the Car' records both went in the last episode of the series. There's a coincidence.
ewerk 30369
Tbf that was probably fixed so they had the best car and driver for those challenges rather than fixing the times themselves.

With Jay K, Peter Jones, Simon Cowell and Gordon Ramsey making up the top four (I think), it appears cuntishness is proportional to driving ability. Ergo, Lewis Hamilton is a massive massive twat, and Piers Morgan must be the fastest man alive.

Happy Face 29
Whoever's choosing the music is doing a great job. Panda Bear, Black Mountain and a couple of Fuck Buttons tracks that I recognised this week and a few other tracks I rather enjoyed especially some Radiohead sounding track and some Yann Tiersen style piano. Found this handy little forum as a result of my enquiries.... http://forums.finalgear.com/wts-tg-season-...h-2008-a-31639/

Craig 6682
Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson leave their mark at Festival Place4:00pm Friday 14th November 2008 SHOPPERS could be forgiven for thinking they were seeing things in Basingstoke’s Festival Place after a series of tyre tracks appeared on the shopping centre floor over the weekend. And little did they know they were made by Jeremy Clarkson, The Stig and the Top Gear crew! Petrolheads Clarkson and the phenomenon that is The Stig turned Festival Place into a race track on Sunday while filming for the cult BBC show. The pair were test-driving two cars – one of which is thought to have been the new Ford Ka – around the centre’s pedestrian walkways. While the centre was closed to the public, Clarkson and The Stig raced the cars along the wide passageways between the shops, using the twists and turns to test the cars’ turning abilities and speed. Filming lasted about 12 hours, and finally finished at about 5am on Monday. Steven Connolly, centre director of Festival Place, said: “We were delighted that we managed to make this happen with Top Gear. “It’s a first for us and caused great excitement throughout Festival Place.” He added: “We’re all looking forward to watching the programme. It was great to see Jeremy Clarkson and The Stig in Festival Place.” Source: http://www.thisishampshire.net/news/gazett...hopping_centre/ Quite looking forward to this one, Festival Place is about a mile away from my house
