FCUM 1 Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I'm trying to email a fellow member a poker ebook. Problem is that this ebook is a .exe file and my email client won't allow me to send .exe files. I've tried renaming it as .jpg file but it's only changing the file name to ????.jpg.exe which doesn't help I've tried zipping the file with winzip but it still shows with a .exe extension Any ideas how I can email this file? nufc4ever 0 Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 Try making it an Office file, like .doc or .xls. Also, make sure you're changing the actual extension and not just the name. In any case, at my place the email filter can now look at renamed files and even into files re-zipped as many times as you like and see what it really is.
