luckyluke 2
Argie Bargies are the best tbh. I once bought a sandwich made of naan breads with an Onion Bhaji filling entitled 'Argy Bhaji' purely on the basis of its name. Was quite nice as well. Craig 6700
Bhajis are lush - they're fucking evil the morning after though, particularly if they're slightly under cooked!

Dr Gloom 22457
indian is the ultimate in comfort food. perfect for a sunday night before a week at work jalfrezi, pilau rice, garlic nann, takka dahl and spicy popadoms with lime pickle and that red onion stuff. Invicta_Toon 0
I fucking love Indian. Mortified that the only one near me, perfectly between the pub and my flat, is a pile of shite. Anything out of there comes swimming in oil, and I mean swimming by Indian takeaway standards! Do have a PizzaHut dellivery near though, so it's all good
luckyluke 2
I wish there was more variety with takeaway foods. Because at the moment, if I can't be arsed to cook, my options are: Pizza Chinese Curry Or if I'm feeling really desperate, McDonalds.
catmag 337
They should definitely do proper Italian food as takeaway. Making seafood pasta for tea tonight..
luckyluke 2
They should definitely do proper Italian food as takeaway. Making seafood pasta for tea tonight.. And Greek and Turkish as well. Actually there is a place in Nottingham that does really nice proper kebabs to takeaway, it's a bit pricey though.
Park Life 71
Bahjis, tbh. "Bargies" are boats. Bahjis just means fried tbh. Yes they are superb. But you need to have good dips.
Park Life 71
It's all upside down in Hamburg, the curries are shit and the Turkish and Greek stuff is lush. The best exotic food here is probably Thai.
Meenzer 15807
It's all upside down in Hamburg, the curries are shit and the Turkish and Greek stuff is lush. It really is. I appreciate there isn't much of an Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi population in Germany, but it still surprises me that curry is seen as something of a "delicacy", so you get all these nicely decorated restaurants serving small-ish portions of delicately spiced stuff, rather than the quantity and flavour you get over here. Now, a long evening at O-Feuer on the Schulterblatt with some tarama, tsatsiki, lamb souvlaki and far too much syrupy wine... that's more like it.
