David Kelly 1280
Wor lass is wanting to knock Sky Movies on the head because it shows the same shite day after day (mind you I never seem to tire of watching Dodgeball!) so I'm considering diverting the cash (well not really as she pays for Sky and I will be paying for this but never mind) into joining one of those DVD rental by post things. I know Gem at least does this and I think there are quite a few others so the question is, which one is the best to go for (on price and choice and anthing else that might be relevant). I think I've asked this ages ago in another thread but I can't remember what was suggested.
Guest alex
The amazon one is good. They were doing a months free trial. It works out about £2 a dvd (inc. postage both ways). There's a few different options.
David Kelly 1280
I'm not sure whether I should go for an unlimited package or one where your allowed a couple per month for less. There's a few doing free trials so I'll wait until I've exhausted all of them before atcually paying for owt.
Gemmill 47106
I used Screenselect which got bought out by LoveFilm. Supposed to be the biggest one in Europe, so in theory it should have the biggest selection/most copies etc, but whether that's true or not I don't know. They're currently doing a 2 week free trial (which isn't worth much because you'll only see a few films in that period anyway. 1 disc out at once for £9.99 per month, 2 discs for £12.99 and 3 discs for £15.99. Gemmill 47106
No, sorry, it just means that I now use LoveFilm. Got no complaints at all. It's unlimited although my main problem is remembering to put them back in the post.
David Kelly 1280
Aye I had that problem when I did the blockbuster free trial and they charged me for the full membership. Complained and they refunded me ok like. I've got a voucher for a free 21 day trial of the lovefilm one and I've tried searching for a few things that I fancy and they seem to have them so I might give it a go. I'll have to get the DVD recorder fixed before I do it like or I'll never end up being able to watch them. Do you know if the disc copy alright if I was to be interested in any such illegal activity? Scottish Mag 3
It works, as I have just reactivated my account which I cancelled on Jan 1st. I have now just had 3 months for the price of 1 twice in succession and now this offer. £30 for 9 months of rentals.. Gemmill, I would consider cancelling your subscription and then rejoining with this code, would save you pennies for a few months.

David Kelly 1280
When you add a load of dvd's to your list on there how long does it take from them to send them out? I've added a load but nothing seems to be happening. Is there something else I need to do to get them moving?
