<_< along the right lines but I have blonde hair and no braces :icon_lol::slap: feeling sorry for myself now like...

Look on the bright side man, you mightn't look so thick anymore. That has to be worth SOMETHING!

It might be like when Homer finds those glasses on The Simpsons and suddenly turns intelligent.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the above for their support at this traumatic moment in my life ... <_<

Could be worse, pet. Could be worse. So you're getting no sympathy from me.

Anyway, :D f you're so worried about spoiling your looks could you not just have got contacts instead?

Good for you Radgi. Astigmatism is nothing unusual and glasses are quite fasionable these days. You could always get contact lenses as an alternative. Do you need them all the time or just for certain tasks?

Thanks <_< Apparently I only need them for driving and whilst using a computer ( which is about 75% of the time what with work and then here) but I have to wear them all the time for three days sothat my eyes "adjust" to them.

:icon_lol: I always was intelligent...I just dumbed it down for here... <_< This is really weird... :D it's like being slightly pissed without the "benefits" of alcohol ....

I think you've got the wrong prescription.

I have astigmatism too. Alternate between glasses and contacts depending. Contacts aren't great for astigmatism people because your corneas are flatter which means that the contacts, curved as they are, inevitably dig in somewhat. Not useful for extended wear.

I need to get my eyes tested. :D The glasses I have at the moment are shit. I hate getting my eyes tested because they ask too many hard questions.. which is clearer, the red or the green? I don't fucking know, they all look shit. <_<
