Bottled Dog 0
Oh aye, that O'Brien + Bramble partnership before he came in was fantastic. No, but we had the best defensive record under them since we came second (as oppposed to last year which was the worst for 13 years or so). Souey's P45 0
Boumsong is fine...I don't know if you watch much football, but I've seen mistakes from Ferdinand and Campbell that'd make you spit out your Bovril. It happens to goalies and defenders. If a striker misses a sitter you just don't score. If a defender/GK fucks up you concede a goal. I think Boumsong will turn out to be an excellent buy and I agree with the positive influence he has on the others as he's a talker on the pitch. Optimistic Nut 188
Next four games are against Fulham, Blackburn, Man City & Portsmouth. If we haven't got 10 points from those 12, Souness will be out IMO.

Bottled Dog 0
Just a bad day in the office. Another daft post though. 20822[/snapback] But it has been more than just the one day hasn't it. He is a player of great stature and a great player to have in the dressing room by the look of it but he is prone to be out of position and prone to lapses. He is not worth 8 million pounds. Black&White 0
If Boumsong is worth 8mil, Taylor must be worth 10.
Jackies the Lad 0
Again I would expect more than an average performance but in fact this was well below par, infact TFD.

Optimistic Nut 188
Just seen the two goals again, and again, Taylor seems to be escaping criticism. He missed the first header against van Nistelrooy for the first goal, and it was Taylor again who gave the ball away in the left-wing position to Rooney in the build up to the second goal. The problem is, Boumsong isn't a Geordie so will inevitably get extra criticism.
Alan Shearer Is God 0
He was awful throught the game yesterday. 2 very costly mistakes and his positioning is just woeful. £8Million, what a rip off, I bet Rangers were laughing when we offered that to them!
