Kevin Carr's Gloves 4104
We have been told 120 redundancies taking place in the Glasgow call centre. All customer services will now take place in India. Only speak to a scottish person when we sell you a phone. On the up side I ordered my bike yesterday. GT aggressor got a great deal on the 03 model.
Monster 0
I have a 3 phone but it's PAYG. My brother has a 3 contract and the customer service department is staffed almost entirely by gibbering muppets who seem to push random buttons on their PC's when asked to do simple tasks. An Indian bloke who can speak only very bad English and dubiously claims his name is 'Nigel' won't be much farther along the bell curve i wouldn't have thought. Gemmill 47712
Aye, I reckon there's more chance of understanding someone in an Indian call centre than a Glaswegian one tbh.
Monster 0
Aye, I reckon there's more chance of understanding someone in an Indian call centre than a Glaswegian one tbh. We speak in code so the likes of you can't understand us. It's like the whole kilt wearing thing really. We are actually aliens and i will now be sent back to Zarg for revealing that fact. GeordieMessiah 2
Sorry to hear that KCG. Though it may feel hellish now, I hope you'll soon find a better job than the one you had there. Been through it myself, so it's not fun, but you will prevail.
Monster 0
I missed that as well. Sorry. Bloody companies are always trying to save money by shifting their call centres to the third world. There will come a time when it will cost them money because nobody will be left here with a job earning enough money to buy their products. Kevin Carr's Gloves 4104
I will be fine. Just got to find something till I finish Uni. Does annoy me about moving production to the 3rd world. Seems short sighted of the goverment to allow that without any kind of tax penalty.
