strawb 4188
Think I read that about the time I read "Fucking hell, it's Paul Cannell" or whatever it's called. Two pretty different football books.

NJS 4375
I went back to Game of thrones and I'm half watching through the third one, It's strange that the show is a mix of subtle differences and word for word dialogue usage from the books

Rayvin 5186
Tbh no, my dad got me it for Christmas but I haven't even started it. Unfortunately he also got me Gordon Brown's autobiography for my bday a few days before, and I'm not someone who can just plough through books

Gemmill 44500
Aye I read it last year. Good read. I'm on Morrissey's autobiography atm which is even more pompous than anyone could imagine. 20% of the way through and the giant ponce has only just left school. Meenzer 15434
I'd rather listen to Gordon Brown sing the back catalogue of the Smiths than read a page of that.

It's pretty bad. He clearly sees himself as a genuine literary figure rather than just some bloke who used to sing in an 80s band. He has a nice enough turn of phrase but what comes over more than anything else is what a shitty outlook he has.

I've thought that for a while from interviews etc. I think he said he'd only let Penguin publish the book if it was released as a Pengiun Classic. They should've told him where to go

Ayatollah Hermione 13838
Aye, Morrissey’s is hard work. Bit like the man himself so I suppose you could say it does a brilliant job of portraying him.

Ayatollah Hermione 13838
Speaking of "autobiographies", Norm MacDonald's is hilarious after finishing it today. He has a disclaimer at the start that basically says "This is largely how I remember it but nobody can ever remember every detail" and then proceeds to chronicle his career and life in the most fantastical, stupid way possible. Homo deus was a struggle at times yet still interesting enough to want to plough on. (Read it vast majority of times before bed and was nodding more than churchill the dog). Basically the futures fucking bleak for most of mankind especially knackers like me.
