Getting from Newcastle to Egham, Surrey

A mate is coming over from America and is heading to Newcastle from Amsterdam, but then has to get from Newcastle to Egham for work. My geographical knowledge of this country is pathetic so was hoping someone on here would know the best way to travel - flight, car, train, whatever?

Cheers.

canny journey that even by train

Aye, typical of my experiences from visiting my mate in Guildford and then when he moved to Marlow. Getting to King's X is a piece of piss. Then the 'fun' starts.

The only advice i can give to your mate is this, 'If you're visiting Gemmill, dont bother, he's an infuriating know it all!

 He already knows this. <_<

Cheers lads, flight probably the least hassle then by the look of things. He was on about hiring a car, but it would be a twat of a drive I would think. I think work is paying so he may as well just fly then hire a car/get a train/taxi from Heathrow.

Aye, if it was in London, I'd say train, but I'd definitely fly as it's pretty close to Heathrow. Fuck driving down like.

Aye, like I said, get the train  Think I'd rather drive if the flights are a non-starter though.

driving to EGham - don't arrive on the M25 before 09:30.................<_<

the best I ever saw it was when ENgland played Jormany in the World Cup and Gazza was sent off

at 21:00 there were only a couple of lorries from Ireland on the road

only got a yellow card, meaning he'd miss the final if we won

part timer

You're daring to challenge the knowledge of Rob W??

He was there man, stood on the touch line right next to where he fouled him immediately before he jumped on a plane to check on the M25 traffic! <_<
