Guest alex
Derek McGovern tipped him to lose in the previous round (not to mention reckoning Ricky Hatton's opponent was worth a bet). He's a canny tipster but what an arrogant Scouse wanker he is. Love it when he gets things wrong as he's so cocksure. This would be an absolutely amazing achievement were he to pull off this victory btw.
Optimistic Nut 108
Great comeback. Losing 5 games in a row, then going a break down, to comeback and break Nadal twice. Great play.
Optimistic Nut 108
Just stuck £20 on Murray winning Sports Personality of the Year at 3/1. Unless Button wins the Formula One Championship, can't really see how it will be anybody else, unless England somehow win the Rugby World Cup. Guest alex
2-2 in the 4th. I would fancy Nadal if it goes to a 5th though.
Optimistic Nut 108
Deciding set. Rafa will win this about 6-1 I reckon.
Papa Lazaru 0
Deciding set. Rafa will win this about 6-1 I reckon. Not sure how close it may be, but unfortunately i would expect Nadal to take it as well, but lets hope not!
Optimistic Nut 108
We'll see how far Murray has really progressed in this set fitness-wise. This time last year Murray would lose this set easily. Let's see how he does now.

Gemmill 44425
Who's winning. My money's on Big Nads at this stage. Mark could be onto a winner with his 5-4 bet.
Guest alex
Nadal's a break up.
Ketsbaia 0
3-0 down in the final set. He just can't convert the break points.
Papa Lazaru 0
Think that will probably be it, Murray had chances to break there, including playing one that seemed to be going out and now he'll most likely pay for it. But at least he's still competing in the final set.

adios 717
Fantastic match up until the final set. Shame Murray lost his head, but what a player he's going to be. Looks like you have a player you can finally be proud of; shame he's Scottish.
Bombadil 0
Shame about that, as far as I'm concerned, Nadal is to tennis what Spurs are to football. Now that may be a stupid analogy, but I just can't stand him at all.
Guest alex
Why does everyone hate Nadal? Seems alright to me. Plus, he's the only one who seems able to challenge Federer (who I prefer btw). It would be boring if there was no one to challenge him and no one else really can at the minute.

Pretty neutral on him apart from that. I'd be surprised if Bombadil's hatred doesn't have a little something to do with the Federer/Nadal rivalry? Bombadil - I love how much you despise Spurs, every post about them drips with hatred, total respect to you for that.

There are several reasons - for a start I prefer watching players whose game is about more than just power and athleticism. And most of all, I can't stand his attitude, the stupid mind games, the shouting and pumping his fist after every single point - he's decidedly second to Federer not just in terms of technical ability, but also in his attitude. Bombadil 0
The rivalry is good for tennis, but I will love it if Federer beats Nadal every single time they meet this year.
