MattM4 0
It's brilliant that our team's stadium is now a staying feature in both games but one thing that annoys me about the Pro Evo version of SJP (Magpie Park if you will) is how the scale if way off. The Milburn and Leazes looks flattened: giving it a far less impressive look that SJP really is. Picked up FIFA07 the other day, and our ground looks terrific! check this out: Shame some parts of the game are shit though, tackling and refereeing especially! MattM4 0
in terms of the stadium itself... FIFA no shadow of a doubt. Plus Pro Evo have that annoying thing where home team absolutely always plays left to right in the first half... so you can never attack the Gallowgate in the 2nd half. And they have got the "away" support in the stand behind the goal on the right... which means NUFC's Gallowgate and Liverpool's Kop are always filled with away fans... brilliant. To be fair though, when the leazes/milburn corner was being constructed (and bearing in mind the west paddocks were still standing so that area was all still to be developed), I did expect the tunnel to be moving into that corner in the same way that Old Trafford is. MattM4 0
They Don't though all pucka now. They did in FIFA05 I remember. That was because it was the first year SJP feature in both games and EA had quite blantantly just copied OT and fiddled with it a bit. I still remember a patch I had tht year for ProEvo, and the guy had edited SJP brilliantly... But then I noticed the letters at the top of the East Stand. It normally says "Magpie Park" there in the game, so the bloke had changed it to "St James' Park". Except that it doesnt say that either in the real life stadium
